- Greek salad (lettuce, rocket, 2 tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, balsamic vinegar, half an avocado)
- Fresh Orange
- Sprite
- a handful of peanuts
- table spoon of mash
- 2 ice cream scoops and chocolate sauce

Had a good day yesterday was feeling energetic and of full spirits! Had a photo play day, I think you can see from how I look at the moment that I'm feeling super healthy and happy.

Day 7 - 3/07/12

- Dominos gluten free vegetarian pizza

Today is my day off, which means its my naughty day... I can gorge on exactly what I please. I have gorged and feel good about it and I have also been gluten free all day long! I've had an awesome relaxed chilled, beach, sofa and pizza day! It just proves you can be indulgent in the gluten free world. I feel utterly full right now, cant move at all... but well deserved fullness! Like I expected my weight loss has leveled off, and has kind of stabilized at around 68kg... which I guess is a pretty OK weight. I think I'll be a little on the heavier side tomorrow.

As expected woke up feeling utterly sore today. Yesterdays beach gymnastic session totally tuck its tole on me, I felt like I'd taken a beating when I tried to get out of bed. Energy hasn't been amazing today, hasn't needed to be really... day off and I was ready to chill hard. I expected my skin to be perfect after this diet but its just the same really, not especially spotty today but I have a few sore red pimples on my chin at the corner of my mouth. This is kind of my general problem spot and to be honest its pretty hard to rate my skin as I wouldn't consider I have bad skin in anyway, I rarely get spots mostly I just get the odd blemish here and there.

My friend Paige had a look at my bottom today and she thinks its definitely getting better, I'm not so convinced though. I have realized I'm eating an awful lot of dairy at the moment, which I wouldn't necessarily think is a good thing... so as well as cutting down on soda/fizzy drinks I also want to cut down on diary particularly cheese. I thought it might be a good idea to photograph myself everyday and compare them on a daily basis.

Day 6 - 2/07/12

- cajun chicken and cheddar cheese

- banana milkshake
- apple and mango juice
- Lift
- 2 ice cream scoops and butterscotch sauce

Had a pretty chilled day today, was up early and most of the day being lazy chilling on the beach, did get pretty restless and ended up teaching Errol how to be a gymnast. Pretty impressed actually, anyhow I'll be pretty sore tomorrow I'm sure. I checked the rash on my bum cheeks today and its still clearly there, but honestly not quite so ready. I'm not generally feeling 100% today but i can easily blame that on my horrendous headache that I have because my wisdom teeth are coming through, the whole side of my face is sore as well as my ear. Its nearly been a week since I started this, and mostly I've been really positive and thought about what I can eat instead of what I can't... I must say there has been a few instances particularly today where I really craved bread or a wrap or something along those lines. I think I might just buy a gluten free loaf of bread just to keep in the freezer, so when I have those cravings hopefully that'll help.


One thing I have noticed about my diet is that I drink to many fizzy drinks, at least one a day, usually its only a quarter of a glass at a time but I have a few to keep me going through the night. I'm going to try and drink something different at work... maybe cordial?

Day 5 - 1/07/12

- slice of cheese and pineapple
- Iced chai tea
- 3 vodka cranberries
- chips and ketchup

Today was my opening morning at work, which meant I had to get up at 8am. Its been my first day when i've struggled to get out of bed and honestly I've knackered all day long. I've just got back in now, had a few drinks after work and I'm ready for bed. I haven't had the much sleep the last few days, so I guess its catching up with me. Right now is probably the most i'm struggling with this gluten free diet, I'm tired, a little tipsy and hungry and I really want some easy convenient shit food to stuff my face with. I was amped about getting a gluten free dominos pizza, but annoyingly its Sunday and closed. So I guess I'll save that for another night.

Day 4 - 30/6/12

- cheese, ham and mushroom 2 egg omelet

On the food front today I've been totally satisfied. I haven't once wished I could have eaten something else, which is definitely a good sign.I've also feel like I've eaten plenty today... the last few days after logging what i've eaten, i've realized it hasn't been that much sometimes. I woke up this morning at bang on 10am, which was surprising considering I didn't fall asleep until 4.30am and the best thing is, is that I was ready to get up and start my day and I haven't felt tired or sleepy at all today. Fresh would be a good way of describing how I am feeling right. 

I've been a little gasy tonight but I think that might be due to the eggs and cheese for Dinner and I don't normally tend to eat that many eggs. My weight has also dropped a massive amount in 4 days... 2 whole Kilograms. When you start a new diet or eating regime I guess you loose that first bit of weight very quickly and then it levels off, so we'll see how that goes. I've also realized I'm not bloated at all, which I love. I hate having a bloated belly, and its definitely fair to say my visits to the bathroom are becoming much more regular than before.

I just did a quick tot up of all the calories I had today (approximates) and it seems I had less than 1800 calories, which is a surprise considering I felt I ate plenty.

Day 3 -29/6/12

- a slice of brie
- coke
- a Boost smoothie (mango)

I woke up this morning full of beans and raring to go, which makes a change. I wasn't hungry either, I've found dried fruit and nuts are a good way of filling myself. My skin is a little spotty right now... we'll see how that goes. As for my gas, I haven't had any, which is amazing... no complaints from Errol. I ate pretty much the same as yesterday today but a little more fruit, really enjoyed my dinner the day before... so I was pretty stoked to have it again. So far this gluten free thing is actually going pretty well and I haven't had to resort to any gluten free breads or pastas. Mostly I'm liking how I feel, not missing that full sluggish feeling.

Day 2 - 28/6/12

- 2 garlic prawns
- a couple of handfuls of roast salted peanuts
- greek salad (lettuce, rocket, 2 tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, 1/2 an avocado, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar)
- slice of cheddar cheese

This morning I woke up starving which isn't a great sign, although this did make it easier and more motivating to get out of bed earlier than usual. Today went grocery shopping and spend over $70 which is a huge amount for me, my fridge looks invitingly green and healthy. I've stocked up on eggs, rice, fish, cheese and a crazy amount of fruit and vegetables, particularly potatoes. I'm less daunted by the prospect of this diet now that I have a good amount of food in the fridge and I can see specific meals that I really enjoy. I've been in a pretty awesome mood today and have had enough energy, although now I'm ready for bed and my mood isn't what it was earlier... thats mainly due to the unfolding events at work. My skin is a little more spotty than yesterday but thats probably linked to the fact I am on my period.
